Board of Directors
NORWESCAP is seeking a responsible individual interested in contributing to our agency by serving as a Board Member representing either participant families and groups, private organizations or interests of public official/representatives. We have a very dynamic, and involved Board, and are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join. Head Start parents most welcome!

Child Care Workers
The Sussex County Courhouse Child Care Center is in need of skilled individuals that would like to provide child care to children. The program is available to litigants and provides a safe, fun place for children to play while their parent is tending to court business. Individuals that enjoy spending time with children are needed.

Circles Guiding Coalition Members
Committed volunteers are needed to be part of diverse group responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of NORWESCAP Circles of Opportunity TM. Guiding Coalition Members help to eliminate poverty, generate resources, and affect change in the community to eradicate poverty. The program is currently seeking volunteers in Somerset and Sussex Counties.

Food Bank
Provides food to pantries, shelters, soup kitchens and needy feeding organizations serving low-income and at-risk populations.

salvage food sorters, fund raising and special events, warehouse assistants, thrift shop

Homeless Assistant
Individuals are needed to bring non-perishable items to indiviuals experiencing a temporary housing emergency on Saturday's or Sunday's. Volunteers in the Phillipsburg area, Washington and Hackettstown have the greatest need.
Examples:
Deliver 2 brown bags of provided groceries to a hotel/motel.

RSVP
Volunteer opportunities for anyone 55 and over, making use of their lifetime of experience. Volunteers are given a wide variety of opportunities with flexible scheduling.
