NORWESCAP Summer Food Service Program. July 6 – August 27. FREE LUNCH for children in Phillipsburg up to age 18. No documentation required! Monday through Friday, 11 am to 1 pm. Lunch is available at the following walk-in sites in Phillipsburg: Heckman Annex, Walnut & Elm Sts., Rocco’s Pizzeria, 360 So. Main Street (room in rear); and the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 137 Chambers Street. Pizza every Tuesday! Children’s activities available at most sites.

National Night Out is Celebrating Police Community Partnerships Tuesday, August 3rd from 5-8 p.m.. Come out and meet your neighbors, and the Phillipsburg Police Department. See K-9 Demonstrations & Visit Community Service Vendors. Winners for the Night Out Poster Contest will also be announced. This program is presented as part of NORWESCAP & the Phillipsburg Police Department’s Neighborhood Crime Prevention Initiative. 4th Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon

NORWESCAP is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon has been scheduled for September 1, 2010 at the Almond Tree Manor, 319 East Central Avenue in Alpha.
The Empty Bowls event is a fundraiser which was started to provide support for food banks, soup kitchens and other organizations that fight hunger. Guests are served a simple meal of soup and bread and keep the bowl as a reminder of hunger in the world. Individuals can participate and support the Food Bank, a program that distributes over 2,000,000 pounds of food annually to 120 food pantries and other feeding programs, by purchasing tickets to the Empty Bowls Luncheon, or by donating a hand crafted bowl to this event.

3rd Annual Harvest Weekend Wine & Music Festival at Alba Vineyards

NORWESCAP 3rd Annual Harvest Weekend Wine & Music Festival “Wines of the World” at Alba Vineyard, This 2 Day event has been scheduled for September 25th & 26th, and will benefit NORWESCAP & the ARC of Warren County. Wines of the World will consist of Wholesalers offering wines for taste testing & Alba Vineyard wines will be available for purchase and tasting. Activities will consist of Carriage Rides, Hot air Balloon and Children crafts. CAIRO will be among one of the bands who will be performing at the festival.
