Take Rt. 57 east from Phillipsburg towards Hackettstown in about 40 minutes, turn
left at the light (T) at Golden Skillet, past the Mall, Fast Food Restaurants turn
right at 2nd light onto East Avenue. Turn right at next light at Blue Mist Diner onto
Rt. 46. Continue on Rt. 46 past Budd Lake, past Rt. 80 intersection (bear left on Rt.
46) into Netcong bear left across the railroad tracks onto Main Street (1/2 mile from
Rt. 80 junction). Take Main Street to "T" turn left at the "T" onto Edgewood
Avenue. (Lake is straight at the T). Past the Citgo on left, bear at right light onto
Rt. 602 East go 2 miles, turn right onto Unger, Hoptacong Center is on the right
corner.
From Rt. 80E -
Take Route 80 east to exit 25 (Rt. 206N)-toward Stanhope/Newton. Stay straight to
go onto Rt. 206 N. Merge onto Rt. 183 S toward Stanhope. Take Rt. 183 south to
the light at Linden Avenue, then turn left onto Linden Avenue. At stop sign, go
right onto McKinley Road. Then at stop sign, go left onto Brooklyn Road. Follow
road passed Our Savior Lutheran Church. Go around sharp curve to the left. At
next corner, go right onto Unger Avenue. Make an immediate right onto driveway.
This driveway leads to the rear of the Hopatcong Head Start site. Entrance rear
lower level.
From Rt. 80W -
Take Rt. 80 west to exit 28. Go straight, follow windy road to light. This is
Landing. (You will be facing the lake). Go left onto Lakeside Blvd. At second light,
go left onto Brooklyn Stanhope Road. (State Park will be on your right). Travel
approximately 1 mile. At Unger Avenue make a left. Make an immediate right onto
driveway which leads to the rear of the Hoptacong Head Start site. Entrance rear
